Workout in the morning
Let’s get the most difficult tip out of the way first. Yes, it will be hard to get yourself to wake up early so you can workout. Yes, it will also be 100% worth it. If you need some extra motivation in the morning, consider buying yourself an iced coffee the night before and keeping it in your refrigerator.
Working out in the morning has tons of benefits, including resetting your sleep schedule so you’re actually tired at the end of the day when you want to fall asleep. Working out in the morning gives you a reason to wake up early, which in turn gives you a reason to go to bed on time. Don't’ knock it ‘till you try it!
Take a cold shower before bed
If you’re tired to lying awake in bed after turning the lights out, you can help your body fall asleep faster by taking a cold shower before bed. Your body needs to cool down before it can fall asleep, and cold showers speed up that process. Plus, doing this every night will help you develop a bedtime routine, which is essential for signaling to your body that it’s time to fall asleep.

Don’t eat or exercise after 8pm
Working out causes your body to heat up, which is the pretty much the opposite of what you want to have happen at the end of the night. Try to workout in the morning or immediately after work if you’re going to have a daily fitness routine. Additionally, try to avoid eating within a couple hours of your bedtime. Your body will have trouble falling asleep if it’s still digesting food.
