We’ve got good news for any burger lovers at our South Austin apartments. This part of town is filled with top-notch burger places, and you don’t have to go far to find one. Since so many people talk about Tex-Mex and BBQ in this town, we thought it would be a good time to shine a light on South Austin’s awesome burger restaurants.
In the post below, we’ll be sharing reviews of the most popular burger joints in the neighborhood. Whether you’re in the mood for a greasy burger with a side of fries or you prefer an upscale burgers made by professional chefs, you'll find what you’re looking for on the list below.
Let’s get right to the list of restaurants, shall we? When you’re done reading through this post, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at Canvas — the apartments South Austin residents choose for comfort and style.
The first spot on our list has a simple yet effective name. It’s a tiny food trailer, but don’t let the unassuming set up fool you; this place churns out phenomenal burgers and fries every day. We’re big fans of their goat cheese burger with peppers, but we encourage you to also try the SoCo burger with pineapple. This place isn’t afraid to experiment with new flavors and ingredients, and we love ‘em for it!
Grass-fed burgers just taste better. Yes, they’re a little more expensive than the standard burger you’re used to getting at every fast food joint, but we think it’s worth it. The burgers at Independence Fine Foods are made with organic ingredients, including organic roasted green chiles. It’s spicy, it’s juicy, and it’s one of the best burgers in South Austin. If you decide to go, be sure to pair your burger with a side of parmesan truffle fries!
This place has makes quality burgers, but we can’t get over their cool buns. They come out with the BurgerFi logo burned into them, and you won’t be able to resist the urge to snap a pic. As for the actual taste, you won’t be able to resist that either. Even vegans can have a good time at BurgerFi, as their vegan burger comes topped with tons of sauteed mushrooms and a soft-yet-crunchy bun. The restaurant itself is clean, the service is super fast and friendly, and there are plenty of options for seating. No matter what kind of burger you get, you’ve got to pair it with an order of fries. One order should be enough to feed 2-3 people, so don’t worry about buying fries for everyone in your party.
That’s the end of our list of the most popular burger joints in South Austin!
